the images in this section cover a period of economic transformation in the city of riverside, ca between 2006-2011 — part of larger financial shifts taking place across the country. in these pieces, i attempt to match patterns of displacement of earth and property taking place on the ground with before and after aerial mapping assisted by images from google earth.
